The pneumatic lug butterfly valve has been dispatched
In the Jinbin workshop, a batch of lug butterfly valves has been completed. It is also called LT lug style butterfly valve, with a size of DN400 and equipped with pneumatic actuators. They have now begun transportation and are headed for Saudi Arabia.
The LT lug type butterfly valve is a commonly used valve in medium and low-pressure fluid systems. Its core advantages include flexible installation, reliable sealing and low flow resistance, making it suitable for fluid transportation control in various working conditions. The lugs at both ends of the valve body can be fixed through bolts without relying on the weight of the pipe flange, and are compatible with various flange standards such as ANSI and GB. When performing maintenance, the valve body can be disassembled separately without affecting the pipeline and pipeline system, significantly enhancing maintenance efficiency.
The valve body has a compact structure and weighs only 1/3 to 1/2 of the gate valve of the same specification. The flow path is unobstructed and close to a straight-through type, with a small flow resistance coefficient, which can reduce the energy consumption for transportation. It supports manual, electric or pneumatic drive, with a small switching torque, making it suitable for large-diameter (DN50-DN2000) scenarios.
The LT type lug butterfly valve is mostly used in the following scenarios:
1.Water supply and drainage and water treatment: Municipal water supply and drainage networks, sewage treatment plants, waterworks, used for the transportation and interception of clear water, sewage and reclaimed water. The soft-sealed type can meet the low leakage requirements and is suitable for large flow conditions.
2.Petrochemical and General Industry: Transportation of media such as crude oil, refined oil products, chemical solvents, acid and alkali solutions, etc. The hard-sealed type can handle medium temperature and pressure working conditions, and the lug installation method is suitable for the frequent maintenance requirements of chemical pipelines.
3.Hvac and building Systems: Central air conditioning water circulation, centralized heating networks, industrial cooling water systems. The soft-sealed type has a good sealing effect, is suitable for low-temperature and low-pressure working conditions, is easy to operate and energy-saving, and reduces the operating cost of the system.
4.Shipbuilding and Metallurgical Industry: Ship ballast water systems, cooling water in the metallurgical industry, compressed air conveying pipelines. The lug structure has strong anti-vibration performance and is suitable for complex installation environments such as bumpy ships or industrial sites.
