The manual slide gate valve is a valve device that realizes the on-off control of the medium through manual operation. The contact surface between the gate and the valve body adopts rubber sealing or metal hard sealing design, which can effectively prevent the leakage of dust, granular materials and corrosive fluids, and the static sealing pressure can reach over 0.6MPa. Secondly, it has the ability to roughly adjust the flow rate. By controlling the height of the gate plate's lifting and lowering, the medium flow rate can be regulated within an opening range of 10% to 90%, meeting the requirements for regulating the material conveying speed in industrial production. Thirdly, the safety shut-off function is reliable. When fully closed, it can withstand the working pressure of the pipeline system, ensuring the safety of equipment maintenance or fault handling and preventing production accidents caused by medium backflow.
In practical applications, the selection of manual slide gate valves should be determined comprehensively based on parameters such as the characteristics of the medium (temperature, particle size, corrosiveness), pipeline diameter (DN50-DN1000), and working pressure. For instance, when handling high-viscosity materials, a large-diameter gate plate design should be selected to prevent material adhesion and clogging. For the transportation of food-grade materials, stainless steel should be used and mirror-polished to meet hygiene standards. In daily use, regularly applying grease to the transmission mechanism and cleaning debris from the surface of the gate plate can significantly extend its service life and ensure long-term stable operation.
