The DN400 hydraulic wedge gate valve can be used in industrial slurry pipelines
In the Jinbin workshop, two hydraulic wedge gate valves have been completed in production. Workers are conducting the final inspection on them. Subsequently, these two gate valves will be packaged and ready for shipment.（gate valves manufacturers）
Hydraulic wedge gate valve take hydraulic power as the core. The key components include hydraulic actuators (mostly cylinders), gate plates, valve seats and valve stems. When the hydraulic oil enters the oil chamber on one side of the actuator, the oil pressure is converted into linear thrust or pull, driving the valve stem to move vertically, and then driving the gate to rise and fall along the valve seat guiding structure: when the gate descends to closely adhere to the valve seat, a surface seal is formed to block the flow of the medium (closed state). The hydraulic oil is injected in the reverse direction into the oil chamber on the other side of the actuator. The gate rises and disconnects from the valve seat. The flow path is in a straight-through state, allowing the medium to pass through without hindrance (in the open state), thus achieving the opening and closing control of the pipeline medium.
Hydraulic flange gate valve have the following major features:
1. Reliable sealing: The gate and the valve seat are in surface contact for sealing. After closing, the leakage of the medium is extremely low, especially suitable for sealing requirements under high-pressure working conditions.
2. Strong high-pressure adaptability: Hydraulic drive can provide a large load driving force. The valve body is mostly made of high-strength alloy materials and can withstand pressures ranging from tens to hundreds of MPa.
3. Smooth opening and closing: Hydraulic transmission has a buffering characteristic, avoiding the rigid impact between the gate and the valve seat, and extending the service life of the valve.
4. Low flow resistance: When fully open, the gate completely retracts from the flow channel, leaving no obstruction in the flow channel. The resistance of the medium is much lower than that of other types of valves such as stop valves.
Hydraulic 16 inch gate valve is mainly used in high-pressure, large-diameter industrial scenarios with high requirements for sealing and operational stability, such as high-pressure oil and gas pipelines in the petrochemical field (resistant to high pressure and leak-proof). Large-diameter water transmission/drainage pipelines for water conservancy projects (with good fluidity and smooth opening and closing); High-temperature and high-pressure steam pipelines for thermal power generation (suitable for harsh working conditions); Hydraulic system pipelines for the mining and metallurgical industries (resistant to harsh environments such as dust and vibration).
